Switched Blog Commenting System to Disqus

I have switched the blog comments system from the basic Wordpress system to Disqus. If you have left comments on previous posts, they are still there and the comment system is the same. The Disqus system will affect all prior posts that did not have comments as well as all of my future posts from [...] ... Continue reading »

Disqus may seem to be a promising tool but there are minor flaws such as comment spams on our website, most people doesn't really care about the whole entry or the article but the link juice itself, and disqus attracts link juice thirsted spammers.. am I considered as a spammer too? LOL.

Disquss is one of the best plugin for blog commenting. The only drawback of disqus is the links are "dofollow". Well its still good.

Dusqus plug in is the bomb, I highly recommend it for everyone to use, because it attracts lots of visitors, meaning lots of traffic to our websites..

im thinking.. is there any options on disqus like word banning? what i mean is if you type a word like Testing, all post with a word testing on it will not be posted or something like that.

Yes disqus is a great application, as a blog owner it has made my life easier on comment mgmt and as a web browser has given me the ease to use the same registrations at multiple places...

I was confused on the third bullet - Ability to rate the comments of other readers.
Does this mean the blog owner can rate or anybody visiting the blog can rate the comments?

I agree that disqus is one of the best comment plug in that can dominate the area for a long time, by the way I'm also fond of managing comments from different websites with disqus, have you tried it out?
